ENGVT Provides BIM Modeling Support for ISPE "Facility of the Future" Award Winner
ENGVT is proud to be one of the engineering service providers for this year's ISPE Facility of the Year Award (FOYA) "Facility of the Future" category winner - Sanofi. Partnered with Cardinal Group, ENGVT provided support with BIM modeling for both phases of the Sanofi project.
Utilizing Autodesk software including Revit, Fabrication CADmep and Navisworks applications ENGVT built accurate construction level 3D models for Sanofi’s Heating, Cooling and Plumbing systems.
As part of the BIM Modeling process ENGVT works with all parties of the BIM coordination team to highlight and resolve problems in a virtual environment, eliminating costly change orders during Construction and enhancing the accuracy and proficiency of prefabricated parts and installation.
In phase 1 of the Sanofi project ENGVT acted as a BIM Manager helping the Owner and Construction Management teams find solutions to difficult questions. Through the use of 3D modeling technologies and engineering knowledge ENGVT was able to help save time and money while also ensuring the best product for the client.
ABOUT ISPE FOYA
ISPE developed the FOYA program to pay recognition to "the best newer renovated Pharmaceutical and Biotechnology manufacturing facilities that combine all aspects of the building into a superior working environment."
Recognition in the annual ISPE Facility of the Year Awards is a significant achievement, as FOYA features "state-of-the-art projects [which utilize] new, innovative technologies to improve the quality of products, to reduce the cost of producing high-quality medicines, and [which] demonstrate advances in project delivery."
