Previously with a global semiconductor manufacturer for 32 years, Don managed a material science and films research group for the first half of his tenure, leading a team of scientists developing and patenting new materials for film deposition. Don also worked in global environmental policy, leading a company program to help guide EPA policy on semiconductor manufacturing. Don’s last 10 years at the global semiconductor manufacturer were focused on building and leading a semiconductor organization tasked with reviewing all chemical processes with regard to risk-based process safety (RBPS) as well as assurance of process uptime.
Don’s vast experience in a variety of chemical process roles in the semiconductor industry will contribute greatly to advancement in technology at Airgard as well as the CPS Group.
Don received his BS and MS Chemistry degrees from Texas State University followed by a Ph.D. in Chemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. He resides in Boise Idaho with his extended family.
