AIRGARD CELEBRATES USPTO Notice of Allowance FOR ITS Advanced heated gas inlet device (U.S. PUB NO. US2022/0349659 A1)

Airgard is pleased to announce that it has received a Notice of Allowance from the USPTO for its innovative Concentrically Heated Inlet Tube for Gas Scrubbing Apparatus. Congratulations to the Airgard team of inventors named on the patent, Dan Messineo, Husain Lohawala and Mark Johnsgard.

Factory Training and Certification of Exyte Services Singapore & Malaysia Field Service Technicians

Exyte has committed to the initiative of expanding Airgard’s global reach in Sales and Service by partnering with the Exyte family of companies to provide factory training and certification for its regional Field Service Technicians. The aim of this initiative is to provide standardized team training to ensure the safest and most consistent operational applications and maintenance for Airgard equipment.

Leveraging Global Footprint to Provide Local ServICE

A valued Airgard customer recently took delivery of two Cyclone wet scrubber units in Asia, marking our first delivery managed by Exyte Services. By leveraging local sister company, Exyte Services, to manage door to door deliveries to our customers, Airgard is pleased to be playing a role in improving important supply chain dynamics for our valued clients, all while supporting growth plans in Asia. A similar service is being built to support our EU customers in the same manner. This is just another example of how we are pairing our air scrubber product offerings with the global reach of our parent company to service our customers directly anywhere in the world.

Airgard and Exyte Continue To Develop Services Collaboration

Exyte Services Singapore personnel recently installed an Airgard point-of-use gas scrubber at a semiconductor fab in Singapore, demonstrating a growing ability to leverage Exyte's global presence to insource commissioning which has so far been conducted by external parties.

In order to best serve our valued clients in the semiconductor manufacturing industry and to ensure that we continue to provide our world class air scrubber systems dependably, Airgard has established additional manufacturing capabilities outside of our Milpitas factory located in the Silicon Valley. We feel this is the next step in our growth trajectory as a global provider of Point of Use (POU) wet and wet-burn-wet scrubber systems.

Celebrating first joint-effort between Exyte Services and Airgard for a commissioning project

Airgard is pleased to announce that we have successfully completed our first joint effort with Exyte Services to commission an Airgard system for a key client in Singapore. The commissioning involved a used scrubber system that was moved from one fab to another to replace an old epi scrubber that needed to be removed and scrapped. Prior to the move-in and installation, the Airgard unit was flushed and cleaned. Once the system was positioned and tied into utilities, the Exyte Services and Airgard FSE team were able to perform a thorough commissioning and start-up.

WELCOMing Don Westmoreland To The Team

Don comes to Airgard as Director of Technology with many years of experience in the semiconductor R&D and manufacturing field. Don is responsible for developing forward-looking technologies and specifying Airgard solutions to meet customer applications.

Previously with a global semiconductor manufacturer for 32 years, Don managed a material science and films research group for the first half of his tenure, leading a team of scientists developing and patenting new materials for film deposition. Don also worked in global environmental policy, leading a company program to help guide EPA policy on semiconductor manufacturing. Don’s last 10 years at the global semiconductor manufacturer were focused on building and leading a semiconductor organization tasked with reviewing all chemical processes with regard to risk-based process safety (RBPS) as well as assurance of process uptime.
